27 Dead After Bus Plunges 75 Feet Into Ravine in Southern Mexico

A bus careened off the road and crashed into a deep gully in southern Mexico, killing 27 people, officials said.
The deadly accident occurred in Oaxaca state, in a region populated by Indigenous groups.
The bus driver lost control of the vehicle, sending it tumbling into the 75-foot ravine.
Photos show the mangled bus at the bottom of the gully with the passenger compartment crushed.
Twenty-six passengers and the driver died at the scene and another passenger later died at the hospital, officials said.
