26-Year-Old Woman Dies After Falling Over Waterfall at Glacier National Park

The Pennsylvania tourist was swept over St. Mary Falls and trapped underwater for several minutes before being rescued.

The woman fell into the water above St. Mary Falls, a 35-foot-high waterfall on the park's east side.
Bystanders pulled her from the water and administered CPR until emergency responders arrived.
Despite resuscitation efforts, the woman never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at the scene.
