Overview

• Police were called to a Cathcart Street home in Goulburn shortly after 8am Friday following a concern for welfare.
• Officers found a 55-year-old man deceased with significant injuries to his face.
• A 24-year-old was arrested on View Street just before 7pm and taken to Goulburn Police Station.
• He was charged with murder and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today.
• A crime scene remains in place as investigators prepare a report for the Coroner.
