Andy Hoang, a 23-year-old nurse, suffered a cardiac arrest while attending a training session on how to respond to cardiac arrests at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Her colleagues immediately sprung into action, performing CPR and calling a 'code blue' medical emergency team.
The incident was particularly stressful as the center had never experienced a real 'code blue' before.
Hoang, who considers herself a healthy individual, was awake by the time the emergency team arrived, approximately 15 minutes after she slumped over.
Despite the frightening experience, Hoang has returned to work and feels a strengthened bond with her fellow nurses.
