Rapper's Life Story Could Still Become a Movie, Says Shannon Sharpe

21 Savage has confirmed that the trailer for a biopic about his life, starring Donald Glover, was a parody and not a real film.
The trailer, which also featured Stranger Things actor Caleb McLaughlin, was actually a promotional tool for 21 Savage's new album, 'American Dream'.
Despite the parody, Shannon Sharpe, host of the Club Shay Shay podcast where 21 Savage made the revelation, suggested that the rapper's life story would make a compelling movie.
21 Savage agreed with Sharpe's suggestion, stating that a biopic about his life could be a possibility in the future.
This is not the first time 21 Savage has used creative marketing strategies; in 2022, he and Drake faced a lawsuit from Condé Nast for using a fake Vogue cover to promote their joint album 'Her Loss'.
