The 2025 MOBO Awards will take place for the first time in Newcastle at the Utilita Arena on February 18, celebrating 27 years of honoring music of Black origin.
Central Cee, Jorja Smith, Sampha, Bashy, Cleo Sol, and Odeal each received three nominations, with Central Cee vying for a potential third consecutive Best Male Act award.
The Album of the Year category includes notable entries like Bashy's 'Being Poor Is Expensive,' Cleo Sol's 'Gold,' and Jorja Smith's 'Falling Or Flying.'
The Best International Act category highlights global stars such as Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, and emerging African artists like Tems, Ayra Starr, and South Africa’s Tyla.
Additional categories include Best Newcomer, Best Drill Act, and Best Performance in a TV Show/Film, showcasing a wide range of talent across music, film, and television.
