2025 Lanka Premier League Set for November 27–December 23
Sri Lanka Cricket has timed the sixth edition to give players match practice prior to co-hosting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2026.

- The sixth Lanka Premier League will run from November 27 to December 23, 2025, featuring five franchise teams.
- Matches are scheduled at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy and Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla.
- Tournament Director Samantha Dodanwela said the timing aligns the LPL with next year’s World Cup to provide Sri Lankan players with high-quality T20 exposure.
