  • Bavaria’s final G8 cohort comprised around 5,900 students taking exams at roughly 100 Auffangnetzschulen ahead of the full shift to a nine-year Gymnasium track.
  • Leipzig’s Anton-Philipp-Reclam-Gymnasium led regular Saxony schools with 11 top grades and the Landesgymnasium Sankt Afra in Meißen produced 14 perfect scores among gifted students.
  • Local districts such as Bautzen reported 22 top-scoring students including four at Goethe-Gymnasium Bischofswerda while Görlitz and Niesky schools each contributed nine perfect Abitur averages.
