GM's Second-Best-Selling Vehicle Gets a Major Overhaul with New Features and a Unique Trim Level

The 2025 Chevrolet Equinox, General Motors' second-best-selling vehicle, will feature a new rugged design, more interior space, and additional safety features.
The new model will be wider and taller, with standard features including an 11.3-inch touch screen, heated seats and steering wheel, and a power tailgate.
The Equinox will also introduce a new trim level, Activ, which will feature a unique grille, fascias, and all-terrain tires for an outdoorsy look.
The power will come from a turbocharged 1.5L four-cylinder engine that produces 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque, unchanged from the current model.
GM is expected to announce the pricing closer to the start of sales, promising that the 2025 Equinox will be competitive with other compact SUVs.
