• Abbey Road Studios announced the winners at a ceremony across Studios One and Two hosted by Lauren Laverne.
• Jordan Curtis Hughes won the Making Music category for his portrait of The 1975’s Matty Healy.
• Other winners included Ruby Boland for Live Music, Kirby Gladstein for Music Moment of the Year, and Melissa Gardner as Emerging Photographer of the Year.
• David Bailey received a one-off Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Nile Rodgers, with tributes from leading artists including Elton John and Jarvis Cocker.
• Anton Corbijn was named ICON Award recipient, as organizers highlighted more than 20,000 entries from around 30 countries and planned further displays at Outernet London in November.
