• Marcus Semien, a Rangers' player known for his charitable work and TV ratings garnered the Marvin Miller Man of the Year Award for the second time in three seasons.
• Shohei Ohtani took home the title of AL Outstanding Player despite undergoing elbow surgery; his performance included leading the AL in home runs with 44 and having a 31.5% K-rate.
• The 2023 World Series recorded the lowest TV ratings in history, despite the Texas Rangers winning their first-ever championship. The series averaged 9.11 million viewers, down 23% from 2022.
