2,000-Gallon Diesel Spill from Johns Hopkins Facility Contained in Baltimore Harbor

Cleanup crews have deployed booms and sorbents to remove the red-tinted diesel dye; investigators are working to trace its origin.

The Maryland Department of the Environment said on Facebook its Emergency response team was responding to an approx. 100-gallon oil spill of unknown origin in Fells Point, Baltimore.
