20-Year-Old Shot Dead in Pune’s Nana Peth in Suspected Revenge Over Andekar Case

  • Ayush alias Govind Komkar, 20, was shot in the parking area of his Nana Peth housing society around 7.45–8 pm and was declared dead at the hospital.

  • The victim is the son of accused Ganesh Komkar and Andekar’s maternal nephew, and police said they have found no evidence linking him to the earlier case.

  • Earlier this week, police booked eight in an alleged revenge plot and arrested suspected firearms suppliers Taleem alias Arif and Yunus Jaleel Khan, seizing a country-made pistol and cartridges after leads that included the Aug 31 detention of Datta Kale.
