Overview
- Initial gunfire was reported at 10:23 p.m., and officers were dispatched around 10:49 p.m. to the 10300 block of Lands End Drive.
- Investigators found the victim dead in a front bedroom of the Ashford Stancliff Park complex and said he lived alone with no known criminal history.
- At least 20 rounds were fired into the apartment from outside, and officers were still counting shell casings at the scene.
- Detectives say the gunfire targeted one unit and reported no other apartments were struck.
- No arrests have been made, and HPD asked for tips as they work to identify five to six people of interest.
