- A 20-year-old man, Malcolm Jakobe Lewis, has been charged with fatally shooting an employee at a Texas car dealership following a dispute over a vehicle's price. The victim, the son of the dealership's owner, was shot twice in front of his parents. Another suspect remains at large.
- In a separate incident, a Maryland man, Franklin Mendez, was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver who later removed Mendez's body from the windshield and left him in the street. The suspect drove for two miles with the body on the windshield before removing it. Authorities are seeking information about a damaged gray Honda Civic believed involved in the hit-and-run.
- In New York, the NYPD is currently conducting a manhunt for three to four men who stole three mini school buses from a locked parking lot in the Morris Park neighborhood. The thieves used the buses to crash through the parking lot's gate during their getaway.
- The bus theft incident is not the first time the group has targeted the same parking lot. According to sources, the group stole a school bus from the lot earlier on Sunday morning.
