20% of Mail-In Voters Admit to Voting Irregularities in 2020, Poll Finds

Survey reveals instances of voting in non-resident states, filling out ballots for others, and offers of payment for voting.

  • According to a poll by Rasmussen and The Heartland Institute, 20% of mail-in voters in the 2020 election admit to participating in some form of voting irregularity.
  • 17% of mail-in voters surveyed said they voted in a state where they’re no longer a permanent resident, which is illegal.
  • 21% of mail-in voters surveyed said they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member, and 17% of these voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member.
  • 10% of all respondents said they know someone who admitted to casting a mail-in ballot in a state other than their state of permanent residence.
  • 8% of respondents said they were offered pay or a reward for voting in 2020, which is a felony.
