2-Year-Old Boy Fatally Wounded in Accidental Shooting in Chicago

Jamal Robinson was pronounced dead at Comer Children’s Hospital after being shot in the face at his home on the Far South Side.

2-year-old Jamal Robinson was fatally wounded in an accidental shooting on Tuesday night in Chicago's Far South Side.
The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. at a home in the 11800 block of South La Salle Street.
A 32-year-old woman reported hearing a gunshot and found Jamal shot in the face.
Jamal was rushed to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced dead.
A firearm was recovered from the scene and the woman was taken to a nearby police station for questioning.
