• A southbound Mini Cooper driven by John M. Koperna Jr., 39, struck a southbound buggy, ejecting all six occupants from Dornsife.
• A 7-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene and a 9-year-old boy died at Geisinger Medical Center, authorities said.
• Four other buggy occupants and the Pottsville driver were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to serious, and the horse died.
