Overview

• Phillip Narkle, 18, was found with stab wounds at a house on Gladstone Road in Rivervale around 5.10 pm on June 7 and died at Royal Perth Hospital.
• Jay Lewis Paul Harrington, 19, from Swan View, was known to the victim and taken into custody following the investigation.
• Harrington appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on June 9 to face a murder charge and was remanded in custody.
• He also faces unrelated allegations including burglary, stealing and assault.
• His next court appearance is scheduled at Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on June 25.
