18th-Century Vessel Unearthed in Dubrovnik Port to Undergo Cultural Study

Discovered by pipeline workers under the port’s seabed, the hull has been secured for study by Croatia’s Culture Ministry.

  • Archaeologists report the wooden hull lay 60 to 80 centimeters beneath the seabed when it was uncovered.
