18-Year-Old Killed, Two Wounded in Bronzeville Shooting on Chicago’s South Side

- The gunfire erupted shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of South Wabash Avenue in Bronzeville.
- Police said three unknown people approached a vehicle occupied by two men, ages 18 and 20, and a 20-year-old woman.
- One assailant pulled a handgun and opened fire, striking the 18-year-old multiple times and hitting the other two in the legs.
- Officers later found the victims’ vehicle at 31st Street and Michigan Avenue in the Douglas neighborhood.
- The wounded man and woman were transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
