  • Walmart will automatically waive sales tax on qualifying items both in stores and online in all states observing the holiday
  • Texas families can buy clothing, footwear, backpacks and school supplies under $100 tax-free during the Aug. 8–10 weekend, with shipping fees counting toward eligibility caps
