16-Year-Old Stabbed in Nottingham City Centre

Police are appealing for witnesses in an ongoing investigation.

Overview

  • Emergency services were called to George Street near Hockley at 5:51pm on Wednesday, 14 January.
  • The boy sustained two stab wounds, was treated by paramedics at the scene, and was taken to hospital.
  • Police said his injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life altering, and his family has been informed.
  • No arrests have been announced, and officers urged witnesses to call 101 or contact Crimestoppers quoting incident 556 of 14 January 2026.
