16-Year-Old Shot on Chicago's West Side in Drive-Up Attack

Overview

• Police say the teen was walking on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of West Maypole Avenue around 8:42–8:45 p.m. Tuesday when the attack occurred.
• Three people got out of a black sedan and opened fire before fleeing in the vehicle.
• The boy ran from the scene and later realized he had been shot twice in the foot, according to police.
• He was transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
