16-Year-Old New Orleans Student Accepted to 185 Colleges, Receives $10 Million in Scholarships

Dennis Barnes, a 16-year-old senior, earned a 4.98 GPA and is graduating two years early.
He received over $10 million in scholarship offers and was accepted at over 185 colleges.
Barnes intends to pursue computer science and later move on to practice software development.
He hopes to meet new people and get a different perspective of the world while pursuing a dual degree in computer science and criminal justice.
The $10 million in scholarship offers from 149 of them is believed to be a record for U.S. college-bound seniors.
