16-Year-Old Dies in Farm Bike Crash in Lancashire

Hector Eccles, 16, died after his farm bike crashed into a field near Extwistle Road, Worsthorne, Lancashire.
The incident occurred around midnight on Saturday, with Hector's passenger, a 17-year-old from Burnley, sustaining no serious injuries.
Lancashire Police have concluded that the incident is not a criminal investigation and are now conducting inquiries on behalf of the coroner.
Hector was described as happiest when on the farm, at Gisburn Auction, or with his friends and colleagues in Pendle Young Farmers.
The Pendle Young Farmers club expressed their devastation over the loss, highlighting Hector's active participation and the impact he had on the community.
