16-Year-Old Boy Arrested in Connection with Hackney Shooting

Lianne Gordon, a beloved community member, was fatally shot; two others were injured in the incident.

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Lianne Gordon, a 42-year-old woman who was shot dead in Hackney, east London.
Two other people, a 20-year-old man and another 16-year-old boy, were also injured in the shooting but have since been discharged from the hospital.
The arrest, described as a 'significant development' in the investigation, was made in the early hours of Friday morning.
Lianne Gordon, described as a much-loved community member with 'a heart of gold', was shot outside a property in Vine Close.
Police are still appealing for anyone with information to come forward to aid the ongoing investigation.
