$15,000 Bail for Woman Accused of Shoving Rider Onto Green Line Tracks at North Station

Overview

  • Nyleamah T. Kinsey, 50, was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person 60 or over and disorderly conduct.
  • She was ordered held on $15,000 bail with a no-loitering condition at MBTA stations if released, and a pretrial hearing is set for Jan. 5.
  • Transit Police say station video led to Kinsey’s identification and connected her to a separate Porter Square attack two days before the North Station incident.
  • The 61-year-old Revere victim was pushed with both hands around 1 p.m. Thursday and bystanders pulled her from the tracks before the next trolley arrived.
  • Police reports say the victim was treated for a head laceration, a torn left rotator cuff, and temporary memory loss after being taken to a Boston hospital.
