15-Year-Old Charged With Murder of Universal Store Co-Founder at Clayfield House Party

Investigators from Queensland Police’s Child Protection Investigation Unit have taken over evidence gathering ahead of the teenager’s September return to children’s court.

Overview

  • Police have charged the 15-year-old guest with one count of murder after Greg Josephson was found fatally stabbed at his Clayfield home.
  • The accused appeared in Brisbane Children’s Court on June 27 and was denied bail with no application submitted by his defence.
  • Officers are appealing for CCTV, dashcam and mobile phone footage from neighbours and partygoers to piece together the events of June 26.
  • Tributes at Josephson’s home continue to grow as friends and neighbours lay flowers and recall his roles in Universal Store and Josephson Holdings.
  • About 30 teenagers attended the planned gathering, none of whom are believed to have been involved in the stabbing but are assisting investigators.
