Jesus Alejandro Rivas-Figueroa, 15, was arrested for attempted murder following a shooting in Times Square, where he allegedly shot a tourist and fired at NYPD.
The Venezuelan teenager, who arrived in the U.S. in September, is also linked to a January armed robbery in the Bronx and a midtown shooting.
Rivas-Figueroa and his mother attempted to flee New York City but were apprehended in Yonkers, hiding behind a wardrobe.
Charged as an adult, Rivas-Figueroa faces two counts of attempted murder, assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.
The injured tourist, a Brazilian woman, was hospitalized and received 13 stitches in her leg before returning to Brazil.
