14-Year-Old Crashes Into San Marcos Apartment Building, Forcing Resident Relocations

Officials left the vehicle lodged in the wall pending a safety assessment for removal.

  • Photos posted by the San Marcos Police Department show the vehicle went nearly all the way through a corner of the exterior wall.
  • Management moved residents from the affected building into other units, and the city’s electric utility shut off power at the scene as a precaution.
  • As of Friday morning the vehicle remained in place, with removal expected today as conditions allow, and the incident is under investigation.
