Overview
- By law the first worker parcel is due by November 30 and the second by December 20, and because those dates fall on a Sunday and a Saturday in 2025, employers are being advised to deposit by November 28 and December 19 to avoid non-banking days.
- The first parcel equals up to 50% of the gross entitlement, prorated by months worked with a month counting from 15 days, and only the second parcel is subject to INSS and income tax withholding.
- The INSS confirmed that November benefits are staggered by the penultimate digit of the benefit number, with payments up to one minimum wage from November 24 to December 5 and amounts above the minimum from December 1 to 5.
- People who began receiving INSS benefits from June 2025 onward will get their 13th in a single installment deposited with the regular benefit between roughly November 25 and early December, while earlier beneficiaries were paid before.
- BPC recipients do not receive the 13th, their November deposits run from November 24 to December 5 with a 60-day withdrawal window, and beneficiaries can check exact dates and statements via Meu INSS or by calling 135.
