135th Rose Parade Celebrates 'World of Music' in Pasadena

The parade featured a variety of floats, with the Cowboy Channel's 'Cowgirls Rule!' float winning the Americana Trophy, Kiwanis International's 'Serving in Harmony' float winning the Tournament Volunteer Trophy, and the San Diego Zoo’s float, 'It Began with a Roar,' winning the Sweepstakes Trophy.
The parade also included marching bands from various institutions, including the United States Marine Corps West Coast Composite Band and the Michigan Marching Band.
Despite concerns over potential protests and a recent strike by Pasadena hotel workers, the event proceeded smoothly with tight security measures in place.
