130-Year-Old Shipwreck Discovered in Lake Michigan

The Margaret A. Muir, lost in a storm with the captain's dog, was found using historical records and sonar.

Captain David Clow's dog, the ship's mascot, perished with the vessel.
The Wisconsin Underwater Archaeology Association plans to nominate the site for the National Register of Historic Places.
