At 13 years and 188 days, Suryavanshi surpassed Babar Azam's record to become the youngest player to score a century in professional cricket.
His 58-ball century is the fastest by an Indian in Youth Tests and the second fastest overall, behind Moeen Ali's 56-ball ton in 2005.
