13-Year-Old Arrested in Connection with California Bakery Looting and Subsequent Robbery

  • The boy was arrested on January 12 for burglary, felony vandalism, driving a vehicle without the owner's consent, and inciting a riot, but was released to his family due to his age.
  • Less than a day after his release, the boy was arrested again for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery at a Carson 7-Eleven store.
  • Four other individuals were also arrested in connection with the bakery incident.
  • Despite the damage and losses, which are estimated to be around $70,000, Ruben's Bakery has reopened.
