12-Year-Old Dies After Being Struck by RSU 13 School Bus in Rockland

• The collision occurred around 2:15 p.m. Friday at Broadway and Eliza Steele Drive shortly after the student stepped off the bus.
• Witnesses reported starting CPR before Rockland EMS transported the child to Pen Bay Hospital, followed by a LifeFlight transfer to Maine Medical Center, and he later died from his injuries.
