11-Year-Old Girl Physically Assaulted at Bengaluru Madrasa; Accused Arrested

• The accused, Mohammad Hasan, is the son of the madrasa hostel in-charge and was a frequent visitor to the facility.
• The victim, an 11-year-old girl enrolled in the madrasa and its hostel since July 2024, was allegedly punished for spilling rice and quarreling with other hostelmates.
• Hasan reportedly slapped, kicked, and physically abused the girl in the madrasa office around 4:30 PM on the day of the incident.
• Police have arrested Hasan and charged him under Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act and Section 115 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for cruelty to children and causing hurt.
