Overview
- The boy was discovered with at least one gunshot wound in Folwell Park’s driveway around 2 p.m. on June 23
- Police say one or more vehicles driving through the park—including at least one that drove onto the grass—fired the shots
- A local resident drove the wounded child to a police lieutenant at a nearby intersection, where the officer began CPR
- Emergency responders were unable to revive the boy, and he was pronounced dead at the scene
