Overview
- The infant, identified as Esther Vitória, was hit while sleeping in a stroller inside a friend’s home in Cidade Tiradentes around 11:50 p.m. on December 31.
- Family members discovered a wound on her abdomen and later found a projectile at the scene next to the stroller.
- She was treated at UPA Tiradentes and transferred to Hospital Santa Marcelina, stayed overnight for observation, and has been discharged to recover at home on antibiotics.
