• Sgt. Aaron Cox, 24, of Mabank, Texas, died on June 5 when his vehicle rolled over near Camp Croft during preparations for the NATO exercise Saber Guardian 2025.
• Another soldier was evacuated by helicopter with serious injuries and is now in stable condition.
• The Army Criminal Investigation Division alongside Hungarian authorities have launched a joint inquiry into the circumstances of the accident.
• Cox enlisted in 2021 and was assigned to Fort Campbell’s 2nd Mobile Brigade Combat Team after completing training at Fort Benning.
