10,000 Bagurumba Dancers to Perform in Guwahati on Jan. 17 in PM Modi's Presence

  • Trainer teams will visit 23 districts on January 8–10 using a standardized video module to align choreography and formations.
  • Performers will assemble in Guwahati on January 11 for stadium rehearsals from January 12–15, with January 16 reserved for rest and final fixes.
  • The mass presentation, held to mark Shilpi Divas honoring Jyotiprasad Agarwala, will feature traditional instruments including the Kham, Sifung/Siphung, and Serja.
