• Around 1,000 people marched through El Prat de Llobregat on June 14 to reject the Generalitat’s proposal to lengthen the airport’s third runway by 500 metres.
• The protest was organized by the Ni Un Pam de Terra platform and joined by mayor Alba Bou along with representatives from ERC, Comuns and CUP.
• Demonstrators argued the expansion serves corporate interests at the expense of the Delta del Llobregat’s natural habitats and residents’ health.
