100-Year-Old WWII Veteran Marries 96-Year-Old Sweetheart in Normandy

The couple, both widowed, met in 2021 and fell in love on their second date.
They attended a state dinner at the Élysée Palace with Presidents Biden and Macron after the ceremony.
Terens wanted to honor fallen soldiers by marrying in Normandy, where he served during WWII.
The wedding was part of the 80th anniversary commemorations of D-Day.
