10-Year-Old Boy Attacked by Shark at Bahamas Resort

The 'Walk with Sharks' experience at Atlantis Paradise Island Resort has been temporarily suspended following the incident.

A 10-year-old boy from Maryland was attacked by a shark during a 'Walk with Sharks' experience at the Atlantis Paradise Island Resort in the Bahamas.
The boy was bitten on his right leg and was initially treated at a local hospital before being airlifted back to the U.S.
The shark attack was captured on video, showing the boy screaming in pain and his family panicking to get him out of the water.
The 'Walk with Sharks' experience, operated by Blue Adventures, has been temporarily suspended following the incident.
This is the first guest-related incident since the experience started in 2006, according to Stuart Cove, the owner of Blue Adventures.
