10 Injured in Mass Shooting Outside Queens Nightclub

Gunmen fired over 30 shots at people waiting outside a private event, with all victims expected to survive.

The shooting occurred outside Amazura nightclub in Jamaica, Queens, around 11:20 p.m. on New Year's Day.
Four male suspects approached a group of 15 people waiting to enter the venue and opened fire before fleeing in a light-colored sedan with out-of-state plates.
The victims, aged 16 to 20, include six females and four males, all of whom sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized.
The event was reportedly a private gathering in honor of a slain community member, though police are investigating potential gang-related motives.
Authorities have ruled out terrorism and are appealing to the public for information to help apprehend the suspects.
