10 Dead, 15 Injured in Karnataka Truck Accident

• The truck, loaded with vegetables, was traveling from Savanur to Kumta market when it collided with a larger vehicle and fell into a ditch.
• Authorities confirmed that 10 people died and 15 others sustained injuries, with all victims being from Savanur taluk in Haveri district.
• Police attribute the crash to poor visibility caused by dense fog, which impaired the truck driver’s ability to see oncoming traffic.
• The injured were transported to the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Hubballi for treatment, and further investigation is underway.
