Overview

• Gunmen fired about 57 rounds at an Aug. 23 basketball tournament in Haffen Park, killing 32-year-old Jaceil Banks and, days later, 17-year-old Anthonaya Campbell, and wounding three others.
• On Sept. 1, five alleged assailants opened fire on Allerton Avenue in a drive-by that prosecutors say was retaliation for Haffen Park, killing 24-year-old Jamari Henry and injuring four men.
