- Markus Fiedler, formerly coach of VfB Stuttgart II, has been named head coach of 1. FC Magdeburg after Christian Titz departed for Hannover 96.
- Christian Titz will take charge of Hannover 96 ahead of the 2025–26 season following his exit from Magdeburg.
- Magdeburg’s first external signing of the summer is 19-year-old forward Nick Meier, who has joined from Hannover 96.
