  • Christian Titz will take charge of Hannover 96 ahead of the 2025–26 season following his exit from Magdeburg.
  • Magdeburg’s first external signing of the summer is 19-year-old forward Nick Meier, who has joined from Hannover 96.
  • Meier featured regularly for Hannover’s second team in the 3. Liga before an injury curtailed his season.
  • The club has not disclosed Meier’s contract length but sporting director Otmar Schork believes he has the potential to break into Magdeburg’s 2. Bundesliga squad.
