Overview
- IO Interactive released a free Starter Pack for 007 First Light on PC (Steam) and Xbox that lets players play the opening mission at no cost.
- PlayStation Plus Premium members can access a separate one-hour timed trial that begins from the start of the campaign and should cover the prologue mission.
- Multiple outlets report a PS5 Starter Pack download will be offered on November 10, 2026, though timing varied across coverage.
- All progress and trophies earned in the Starter Pack or the PS Plus timed trial carry over into the full game if players buy it, which is intended to ease conversion.
- The push to widen access ties into Black Friday discounts, a recent sales run that reached roughly 4 million copies by August, and a planned Switch 2 port in March 2027.
